Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.
Youtube
When playing video files, our website uses plugins from the Google-operated site YouTube (YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA). When you visit a page that uses a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established and data is exchanged. If you are logged in with a YouTube account, the visitor behavior is assigned to your profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. For further information on the handling of user data, please refer to YouTube’s privacy policy.
Newsletter
You can subscribe to a free newsletter on our website. When you subscribe to the newsletter, the data from the input screen is transmitted to us. If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter offered on our website, we require an e-mail address and your name. This enables us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Additional data is only collected on a voluntary basis. The collection of the user’s data serves exclusively to deliver the newsletter. The collection of other personal data as part of the registration process serves to prevent misuse of the services or the e-mail address used. Your consent is obtained for the processing of the data as part of the registration process and reference is made to this privacy policy. The data entered in the newsletter registration form is processed on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). The subscription to the newsletter can be canceled by the user concerned at any time. For this purpose, there is a corresponding link in every newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out is not affected by the revocation. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. The user’s e-mail address is therefore stored for as long as the subscription to the newsletter is active.
We use the service provider HubSpot (HubSpot Germany GmbH, Am Postbahnhof 17, 10243 Berlin) to send automated emails and newsletters. HubSpot organizes and analyses the dispatch. The data you enter for the purpose of receiving the newsletter (e.g. e-mail address) is stored on HubSpot’s servers.
We have concluded a contract with HubSpot for commissioned data processing, in which we oblige HubSpot to protect our customers’ data and not to pass it on to third parties. Our newsletters sent with HubSpot enable us to analyze the behavior of newsletter recipients. Among other things, we can analyze how many recipients have opened the newsletter message and how often which link in the newsletter was clicked on. All links in the email are so-called tracking links that can be used to count your clicks.
If you do not want HubSpot to analyze your data, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a corresponding link for this purpose in every newsletter. You can also revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by sending an email to the address given in our legal notice.
The data you provide us with for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and deleted from both our servers and HubSpot’s servers after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected by this. For more information, please refer to HubSpot’s privacy policy.
